Dr. Randhawa completed medical school and training in psychiatry at the University of British Columbia. Through the course of his training, he focused on the treatment of anxiety disorders and sleep disorders. He completed his residency in June 2004, and now works at the Sleep Disorders Clinic and at Student Health Services at UBC.

Dr. Randhawa is involved in the development of educational resources for training psychiatrists at the University of British Columbia. He teaches psychiatry residents and senior medical students about the assessment and management of anxiety and sleep disorders.

Dr. Randhawa is also a member of the Board of Directors of Anxiety BC, a provincial non-profit organization devoted to developing public awareness about anxiety disorders, and increasing access to effective treatments.
